INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2023 - CEO INTERVIEWS
International Women's Day is an annual celebration that recognises and honours the contributions of women to society, and this year we have the pleasure of sitting down with Stacey Hollands, Olivia Jenkins, Sophie Guidolin and Tammi Keirl who all embody what it means to be a leading and inspirational woman in their community. In these interviews, these incredible women share a snippet of their personal story and their thoughts on International Women's Day and why it's important.
Stacey Hollands is the CEO and Founder of Lust Minerals, a wife, and a mother of two beautiful children. Her passion for health and wellness led her to found her clean beauty brand, Lust Minerals. Stacey believes that International Women's Day is a reminder of the power that women have when they join together and that we can truly achieve anything. Her proudest moment was growing Lust Minerals which once was a brand that lived in her linen cupboard in her home and now is a global beauty brand and one of Australia’s leading clean beauty brands. Stacey's advice to other women is to live life with passion and purpose and to remember that they have the power to create the life of their dreams.
- “You have the opportunity to design the life of your dreams”.
Olivia is a business and marketing consultant for iconic health, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands, she is the CEO of Indy & Eve CO and is also a mother of three children and lives on a production farm in South Australia. For Olivia, International Women's Day is a day to celebrate what it really means to be a woman, and she is passionate about promoting the idea of being a career mom. Olivia believes that women can absolutely pursue their careers while being a mom. Her proudest achievement to date is the lives she has changed, she loves that she has helped brands reach new audiences where their products have changed their lives. Plus, the lives of her clients, helping them progress as leaders, as women, as individuals, as business owners and she believes that's what it’s all about, leaving the world a better place. Olivia's advice to other women is to know that they are enough, exactly as they are, and to pursue whatever they want to achieve.
- “Feel the fear and do it anyway”
For fitness guru and Founder of The Bod, Sophie, International Women's Day is about equality and empowering women to stand up for their rights and beliefs. She believes women can achieve greatness without needing a man behind them and encourages all women to strive for the stars.
As a little girl, Sophie dreamt of being a mother, and today, she takes pride in raising her children in a way that makes her happy. Her proudest moments are not the awards and recognition she has received, but the small acts of kindness her children show towards others. Sophie is inspired by strong, independent women who have overcome adversity to achieve success. She values warmth, energy, and presence over materialistic achievements. Finally, for women reading this, Sophie wants you to know to always remember who you are and who you want to be and then live as if you are already that person.
- "The only thing that can overcome darkness is light itself"
Tammi, the owner of The Milk Boutique, content creator, and mum of two, embodies the spirit of this day. Tammi believes that International Women's Day is a movement that empowers and inspires women to follow their dreams, knowing that they have the support of other women. As a little girl, Tammi was obsessed with horses and dreamed of galloping along the beach on her heart horse. Her proudest moment to date is being the financial provider for her family and providing for them. She feels like a boss babe and knows that she must be doing something right. Women who inspire Tammi are smart, confident, supportive, and encouraging, like her business coach Olivia Edwards and friend Stacey Hollands. Both of them are mums who have not let motherhood hold them back from pursuing their goals and ambitions. Tammi believes that women supporting women is powerful. Tammi wants all women to know that self-sabotage and doubts often hold women back from taking risks and making big decisions in life. However, the biggest growth phases in personal development occur in the uncomfortable moments of life. Tammi encourages women to give themselves the same amount of love and encouragement they would give to other women and go for their goals.
- "There is no such thing as the wrong decision, all paths lead home."
All these amazing women's stories show that women can pursue their dreams and ambitions, be successful in their careers, and provide for their families. They can also support and encourage other women along the way. On this International Women's Day, let us celebrate women's achievements and continue to empower and inspire each other to reach our fullest potential in life.
