I didn't recall reading in any of the reviews that it was like a tubing mascara, but honestly it washes off so easily without the under eye staining. I like my lashes to look fresh and separated, not overly bold and with just one coat, I can achieve this (have not tried to build it up for a more dramatic look) This is a 10/10!"
